HEALTH OR MEDICAL PROBLEMS AND THE ELDERLY

By using our services, owners verify their dogs are up to date with vaccinations.

Please tell us about any health issues your dog has and we can adapt their groom and ensure their comfort at all times.

Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior dog or dog with health problems and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom.  In the best interest of your pet you give Doodle Doos permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your pet should it be deemed necessary by us.  We will do our best to contact you first, then take your pet to the nearest veterinarian that is available.  It is agreed that all expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet’s owner.

FLEAS AND TICKS

We recommend you follow a regular flea and tick treatment routine and check your pets regularly for any signs of infestation.  We at Doodle Doos request that all customers check their dogs for fleas and ticks before entering the premises.  If fleas are found on a dog whilst in the salon, we will use a flea treatment shampoo at an extra cost of £5 added to your groom and also a £5 charge for fumigation of the salon and extra disinfection to ensure all parasites are eradicated.

AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR

Owners MUST inform us at Doodle Doos any history of biting and, or aggressive behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse or stop services of your dog at any time before or during the grooming process and charge an aggressive dog fee of £10 in addition to your regular grooming charge. If your dog should bite, the owner agrees to be responsible for any and all related medical bills, recovery costs, loss of income, and equipment damage.

CONDITION OF COAT/SKIN

We at Doodle Doos care for your dogs health and wellbeing, and will always recommend you have a vet check any lumps/bumps/rashes on your dogs skin. Please always advise your groomer of any allergies, abrasions so that we can customise their groom to their specific requirements.

NO SHOWS/LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment  – you will incur a 50% charge for your groom
